In recent years, West Virginia University has updated the stadium, still affectionately known as Mountaineer Field. With new video boards, wall coverings and premium seating areas, Milan Puskar Stadium has become the premier sports venue in all of West Virginia.
There is still a long way to go to keep Milan Puskar Stadium relevant. Over the summer, and dating back to last season, construction work has gone on inside and outside of the stadium. Work has been done to widen the concourses, expand the gateway to the different entry points and update the playing surface with a new turf field.
