On Tuesday, new West Virginia football coach Neal Brown threw his team’s spring football practice open. It was not to the media, as one might suspect, but instead to a far more important group of people if he is going to succeed in his challenge here. Brown opened it up to students and the Mountaineer Maniacs, who turned out more than 1,000 strong to get their first look at their team on what was termed Student Appreciation Day.
