MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Former West Virginia small forward Teddy Allen announced Tuesday night he plans to transfer to Wichita State.
“I have committed to Coach Marshall and Wichita State University,” Allen tweeted while visiting the Shockers facilities. “I want to thank everyone who’s supported me throughout this process and my freshman year. Can’t wait to get to work in Wichita ! All the glory to my Lord and Savior!”
After a freshman season in which he averaged 7.0 points and 2.7 rebounds while playing 12 minutes per game, the 6-foot-5 Allen was granted his release from West Virginia on May 3.
