MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — On a night made for ovations, the West Virginia seniors earned theirs.

Jaysean Paige measured up to his pregame billing as “THE BEST SIXTH MAN IN AMERICA!” (Aren’t home P.A. announcers the best!)

Jonathan Holton went grimacing into the tunnel with a shoulder injury yet returned to grab a game-high 11 rebounds.

And walk-on Richard Romeo, culminating four thankless seasons stashed at the bench’s farthest recess, swished home the most celebrated bucket of all.

Leading the underclassmen, Nathan Adrian showed a baby hook shot on his way to 13 points, and showed a little bit of everything else while compiling five boards, three assists, two steals and plus/minus of 26 in 23 minutes.
