MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University volleyball coach Reed Sunahara announced the addition of Jojit Coronel to his staff as an assistant coach on Thursday. Coronel comes to Morgantown from Lubbock, Texas, where he spent six seasons on the staff at Texas Tech.
Coronel replaces former assistant coach Sean Byron, who is now the recruiting coordinator and assistant coach at Michigan.
“I have known Jojit for a long time,” said Sunahara, who enters his second season at the helm of the Mountaineers. “I have seen him develop as a player and as a coach. He comes to WVU with a wealth of knowledge and with high recommendations and is everything we are looking for in a coach.
