Summer Signee Brandon Lawless Leaves WVU

At the end of June, WVU signed JUCO defensive end Brandon Lawless with the intent to bring him into fall camp. Brandon originally graduated high school eligible to play FBS football but failed to receive an offer. He chose to go the JUCO route and the decision paid off. Over his freshman year, Brandon grew another two inches and added 35 pounds to his frame.

Brandon posted 35 tackles and 7.5 sacks his freshman year at Los Angeles Valley Community College and received an offer from WVU. As reported by 247Sports.com, Brandon is now off the official roster and has left the team.
