MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - West Virginia University women’s basketball junior guard Tynice Martin sustained a foot injury at the USA Basketball U23 National Team Trials on August 3, 2017, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She had surgery last week and is expected to return in November.
Martin released a video statement on social media earlier today.
“Hi Mountaineer fans, this is Tynice Martin. I wanted to let everyone know about my injury that happened at USA Basketball Team Trials. On the second day, I injured my foot and had to get surgery in Colorado Springs.
