FAIRMONT, W.Va. — Fairmont Senior defensive lineman Darius Stills joined the MetroNews Statewide Sportsline on Tuesday night, reflecting on his recent commitment to West Virginia’s 2017 recruiting class.
After initially committing to Rutgers, Stills flipped to the Mountaineers after receiving an offer from WVU last week.
“Once you commit to a school and want to decommit, it’s scary, because you don’t know how the conversation is going to go. But, I had to be a man and call (Rutgers),” Stills said. “It went better than I thought, because they understood where I was coming from with the West Virginia offer and it being my home.
