Skyler Howard waived by the Seattle Seahawks

It’s been a pretty up-and-down month for former West Virginia University quarterback Skyler Howard. After going undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft, as most expected, Howard quickly signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent. As with all UDFA contracts, Howard stood to make $465,000 a year for three years, provided he was able to make the 53-man rosters before the season starts.

Howard reported to Seattle and worked out for the team in the Seahawks’ rookie training camp over the weekend, and impressed a few outsiders with his performance.
