WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Jimmy Galusky thought back to Little League, to travel ball, to those varsity seasons at Preston High.

Guess how many two-homer games popped up?

“I don’t think it’s ever happened,” Galusky said.

The skinny sophomore shortstop, typically the caboose in West Virginia’s lineup, entered Friday batting .249 with three home runs in 113 college games. So when he homered twice in the span of two hours against Maryland, the Terps must’ve wondered if they had been reading the scouting report upside-down.

Galusky admitted his teammates didn’t know to react either as he made a second trot around the bases.
