MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Volleyball's Hannah Shreve is West Virginia University’s nominee for the 2016 Big 12 Female Sportsperson of the Year as announced by the league on Tuesday.
A native of Charleston, West Virginia, Shreve recently completed her Bachelor of Science in Accounting in just three years, earning mention as a 2016 WVU Foundation Outstanding Senior. In addition, she carried the banner for the College of Business and Economics at commencement in May.
Shreve, a middle blocker, earned Academic All-Big 12 Volleyball team accolades in November and has been named to both the Garrett Ford Academic Honor Roll and Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
