MORGANTOWN, W.Va – Two members of the West Virginia University women’s tennis team, junior Habiba Shaker and freshman Christina Jordan, will travel to Pacific Palisade, California to compete in the 2016 Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Championships from October 1-9, on the campus of Pepperdine University.
“It’s a great opportunity for Habiba and Christina to travel to the All-American Championships,” fourth-year coach Miha Lisac said. “They will compete against the best players in the country so this is a great opportunity for them to further their game and compete at a high level.”
Shaker will compete in singles, where she will start at the pre-qualifiers level of the tournament.
