The success followed suit even after the draft as seven other West Virginia products signed professional deals. All seven players had intentions of playing at the next level and they will get to live out their dreams.
First, these seven players will have to work to earn their spot.
In the hours after the NFL Draft John DePalma, Nick O’Toole, Shaq Petteway, Kyle Rose, Marquis Lucas, Terrell Chestnut and Jared Barber all worked out deals with NFL teams.
All of these Mountaineers worked out at WVU’s Pro Day, which attracted professional scouts from all over the country.
