Many people around the WVU football program seem to think true freshman quarterback Scotty Fox Jr. has a bright future, and he continues to rack up milestones in his first season that make it hard to disagree with that assessment.

The Mountaineers dropped to 4-7 overall and fell out of bowl season contention with a heartbreaking 25-23 loss to Arizona State on Saturday, but fans are trying to remain hopeful about the trajectory of the program. And much of that has to do with Fox. The young gunslinger finished the game against the Sun Devils 19-of-31 passing for 353 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.
