It wasn’t pretty in the slightest, but a win is a win. The West Virginia Mountaineers (2-1, 1-1 Big 12) held off the Baylor Bears (1-1, 1-1 Big 12) this afternoon in double overtime.
The Mountaineers continue to have an affinity for shooting themselves in the foot to kill momentum, but were able to overcome it today thanks to a strong defensive performance.

Takeaways
- We’re seeing a real commitment to honoring the legacy of the 2010 Mountaineers from this team, in that it looks like we have a really good defense that’s weighed down by a subpar offense.
