Trey Lowe hopes he can become both.
The grandson of College Football Hall-of-Fame linebacker Woodrow Lowe and one of 2018’s most intriguing dual-sport prospects, Lowe committed to West Virginia on Tuesday over offers from North Carolina, Illinois, Houston, Memphis and Southern Miss.
“I always knew that I wanted to play both sports. I’ve been doing it my entire life so I always wanted to do it in college,” Lowe told Rivals.com. “I talked with (WVU) about it and they were right on board with it.
