Prediger Up for NCAA Woman of the Year Award

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University graduate Maren Prediger has been selected as a conference honoree for the 2015 NCAA Woman of the Year award.

The Petersaurach, Germany, native is the Great American Rifle Conference (GARC) nominee. She is the first WVU student-athlete selected as a conference nominee since Petra Zublasing earned one of five Division I independent school nominations in 2013.

A record 147 NCAA female student-athletes have been named 2015 Woman of the Year honorees by conferences and independent schools.

The Woman of the Year selection committee will next narrow the field down to the top 10 honorees from each of the three division.
