MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia free safety Dravon Askew-Henry, not quite a year removed from ACL surgery, was running and cutting with relative fluidity as the Mountaineers opened preseason camp Sunday.
A redshirt junior and the leader of the secondary, Askew-Henry sat out most of spring practice while rehabbing the left knee, which sports a brace.
William Crest, back from exploring a transfer, was sporting a new number (86) and Kennedy McKoy sported colorful dreads.
See them, along with other notables, in the photo gallery from Sunday’s practice, the first of the preseason for the West Virginia football team.
