No. 12 WVU Drops Exhibition at No. 25 GU

Down 3-0 after 80 minutes of action, the Mountaineers mounted a comeback in the final 20 minutes but came up short.

It’s always good to play an opponent like Georgetown during the exhibition season so we can pinpoint the areas we need to improve,” said Mountaineer coach Nikki Izzo-Brown. “I look forward to getting this team back on the practice field and continuing our preparation for our 2015 season opener.”

Two of the Mountaineers’ three transfers tallied goals this evening, with junior forward Aaran Parry scoring in the 88th minute and sophomore forward Kayla Saager finishing her chance in the 92nd minute.
