Neal Brown hopes West Virginia will peak before the Oklahoma State game

West Virginia head coach Neal Brown was pleased with the Mountaineers’ overall performance in the season opener, but he knows the standards will be higher as they enter their conference schedule. In a unique preseason, Brown says the original plan was to build up towards the start of league play. Now the Mountaineers are preparing to face the last team to defeat them, Oklahoma State. The Cowboys bested WVU last November in Morgantown in a 20-13 defensive struggle.

Most coaches will find a way to pick apart performances even after a 56-10 victory. That is what the West Virginia football staff has been doing since their season-opening win over Eastern Kentucky on Saturday.
