Myers jolted as Hawaii takes series lead

HONOLULU – BJ Myers suffered his first loss of the season and West Virginia stranded 10 runners in a 6-2 loss at Hawaii late Saturday night at Les Murakami Stadium.

Kyle Davis had three hits, including his third home run of the season, but the Mountaineers (6-3) didn’t recover from falling behind 4-0 in the first three innings.

Hawaii’s Eric Ramirez homered off BJ Myers as the Rainbow Warriors downed WVU 6-2 late Saturday.

The Rainbow Warriors (6-6) tallied six runs on seven hits with one error. WVU left 10 runners on base, and UH stranded five.
