The Mountaineers will play four dates this spring, with all seven matches taking place on the road.
“The spring is a great time to work on new things,” said Sunahara. “It’s a very beneficial time that we use to focus on areas of our game that we need to strengthen. We have a few of our newcomers on campus at this time, so it’s a great way to integrate them into our game plans and gives us a head start.”
WVU will face Georgetown and host Virginia on Saturday to open the spring season.
The Mountaineers continue on with the slate on Saturday, April 2, when they travel to Kent State in Kent, Ohio, for a tournament.
