MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Four Mountaineers reached double-figure scoring in the No. 22/25-ranked West Virginia University women’s basketball team’s 104-48 exhibition game victory over Concord in front of 2,116 fans at Robert C. Byrd High School in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
West Virginia sprinted out to a 28-4 edge after one quarter and pushed its lead to 50 points in the third quarter. Lanay Montgomery and Teana Muldrow scored 16 points each to pace the Mountaineers. Muldrow registered a double-double with her 10 rebounds. Montgomery connected on her first eight field goals and finished with three rebounds, three blocked shots and two steals.
