Mountaineers Open Road Swing at Kansas

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University women’s basketball team looks to bounce back after a 65-54 loss to No. 5/6-ranked Texas on Wednesday, when the Mountaineers visit Kansas on Sunday, Jan. 3. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. ET/2p.m. CT inside Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kansas.

WVU (11-3, 0-1) battled in the game against the Longhorns, but an early 10-0 Texas run helped UT record its first victory in Morgantown. Kansas (5-7, 0-1) fell 66-47 at No. 18/19 Oklahoma on Wednesday. WVU opens the two-game road swing at KU on Sunday before concluding the trip at Kansas State on Wednesday, Jan.
