Mountaineers No. 2 in NSCAA Poll

Today’s ranking is two spots higher than the Mountaineers’ (6-0-1) position last week and matches the program’s best-ever NSCAA ranking. The squad hit No. 1 in this week’s TopDrawerSoccer.com and Soccer America Polls, both released yesterday.

WVU received six of the available 31 first-place votes for 734 points.

Stanford (6-0-1) ranks No. 1, having received 16 first-place votes for 746 total points. Previous No. 1 Florida State (5-1) received eight first-place votes for 709 points and dropped to No. 3.
