Mountaineers Maintain Top Ranking

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The 2016 Big 12 Conference regular-season champion West Virginia University women’s soccer team ranks No. 1 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Poll for the third straight week.

The Mountaineers (15-1-1, 7-0) also sit at No. 1 in today’s Soccer America Women’s Top 25 Poll and in the TopDrawerSoccer.com Top 25 Poll, released yesterday.

WVU again received 22 of the available 30 first-place votes. South Carolina (16-0-1, 10-0 SEC) received four votes and ranks No. 2, while Stanford (14-1-1, 7-1 Pac-12) earned three votes and ranks No. 3. USC (13-3, 7-1 Pac-12) received the final first-place vote and ranks No.
