MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - All 10 Big 12 teams (say that 10 times real quickly) will be facing at least two nationally ranked men’s basketball teams heading down the stretch toward March.
West Virginia’s tour of the Top 25 continues tonight with a 9 p.m. meeting against Iowa State, which is coming off a nine-point victory at home against TCU on Saturday night.
The Cyclones (19-8, 8-6) got 27 points from 6-foot-8-inch forward Georges Niang and 23 points on nine-of-13 shooting from Deonte Burton on Saturday night.
“They can really score the ball,” said West Virginia coach Bob Huggins.
