MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Freshman Etienne Papineau shot three under par through the final 18 holes as the West Virginia University golf team completed its fall slate at the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational at the Quail Valley Golf and River Club in Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday.
The Mountaineers finished the tournament in 12th place with a score of 291-292-293=876 for 12 over par.
Papnieau carded five birdies on his way to a score of 69 in the final round. He tied for 48th place with a three-round score of 74-77-69=220, finishing the tournament four over par.
