Mountaineers Close Spring at Duquesne

“Saturday’s match gives us one more opportunity to get better this spring,” Mountaineer coach Nikki Izzo-Brown said. “We are looking to implement all the lessons we’ve gone over this spring season and end the year on a strong note.”

The Mountaineers return to the road following a 1-1 showing at Tennessee on April 22. The squad opened the day with a 1-0 loss to the Volunteers before defeating Alabama, 4-0.

Four different Mountaineers tallied a goal against the Crimson Tide, including junior midfielder Alli Magaletta, who broke WVU’s scoring drought with a header in the 68th minute.
