Mountaineer Nation Joyously Reacts To WVU Football's Backyard Brawl Win

WVU football just might be back.

At least that's the feeling around Morgantown after the Mountaineers pulled off a come-from-behind win in overtime against Pitt in The Backyard Brawl on Saturday. WVU walked away with a 31-24 victory, and sent Pitt back up I-79 on what was surely a disappointing trip home.

Head coach Rich Rodriguez was as fired up after the game as he has likely been in nearly two decades, and was all smiles after the win. The goalposts inside Milan Puskar Stadium came down immediately after the win, and there are already reports of couches burning in Morgantown.
