Marcus Simms Holds Pro-Day For Half of NFL

Former West Virginia Mountaineers receiver Marcus Simms recently held a pro-day in Morgantown that was attended by over half the NFL. According to Tony Pauline of draftanalyst.com Mike Mayock, the Oakland Raiders GM was in attendance, along with the Jaguars, Saints, Seahawks, Colts, Jets, Chiefs, Browns, Eagles, Lions, Packers, Falcons and Washington Redskins. The Vikings and 49ers had their directors of scouting on hand, and the Ravens sent their personnel director.

Simms was a valuable receiver for the Mountaineers during his three years in Morgantown. As a freshman, he had six catches for 95 yards including a 45-yard yard touchdown against the Iowa State Cyclones.
