MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia receiver Marcus Simms was charged with DUI early Sunday morning and found to be driving with a revoked license stemming from a previous DUI during May in his home state of Maryland.

Mountaineers coach Dana Holgorsen, said to be sorting through details, had not released a statement as of Sunday night.

The Dominion Post newspaper first reported Simms’ latest arrest, which occurred during move-in weekend at WVU. Classes begin Wednesday.

After making only six catches for 95 yards and one touchdown as a true freshman, Simms exited Friday’s scrimmage in line to start at outside receiver this season.
