Not to be unexpected, the Mountaineers fall to 28th (receiving votes) in the Coaches Poll and 34th in the AP Poll following the loss in Norman.
One week in the polls was all the Mountaineers was able to enjoy. Whether or not a victory at home against #19/21 Oklahoma State could be enough to get WVU back in the rankings remains to be seen.
