WACO, Texas — No. 5 West Virginia and Baylor traded scores late in regulation before a golden goal from Amandine Pierre-Louis in the 96th minute gave the Mountaineers a 2-1 overtime win Friday night in women’s soccer.

The Mountaineers’ (8-2, 1-0) extended their conference winning streak to 13 and improved their all-time mark in Big 12 matches to 36-1-3.

Pierre-Louis’ game-winner, her second goal of the season, followed Grace Cutler being fouled on a shot just above the box. Pierre-Louis fired the free kick toward the far left post, mimicking a shot she has been practicing for weeks.
