Many WVU fans and Mountaineer diehards already knew this, especially after a 2014 story by the Charleston Daily Mail.
In that story by Zack Harold, at a concert in Pittsburgh, Lady Gaga gives a shout out to her grandmother. With that, she makes clear mention that she is from West Virginia.
“My grandma’s here tonight,” Harold recalls in the PopMachine blog. “My grandmother was there with me for one of the hardest times in my life, and she’s been there for every other hard time since that one.
