Easily the best player WVU women’s soccer has ever sported, Kadehisha Buchanan was named the 2016 MAC Hermann Trophy winner, the most outstanding women’s player in college soccer on Tuesday night.
The Missouri Athletic Club has awarded the best male and female player in collegiate soccer with the Hermann Trophy since 1986. The award is voted on by Division 1 soccer coaches, as part of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Her career at WVU brought many individual awards her way, but her anchoring of the WVU backline in 2016 took the Mountaineers to the national championship final.
