Juvenile, charged with murder, escapes

JULIAN, W.Va. — A Parkersburg teenager charged with murder escaped from custody Sunday afternoon.

Dominick McClung, 18, escaped from a transport vehicle in the GoMart parking lot in Danville at around 4:30 p.m. according to the state Division of Juvenile Services.

McClung has been in custody at the Donald J. Kuhn Juvenile Center in Boone County.

He’s six foot tall and weighs 172 pounds.

McClung was charged last fall in the Labor Day 2019 death of Karen Yeager, 68. Her body was found underneath the 5th Street Bridge in south Parkersburg.
