After weeks of speculation about the future of Jovon Durante playing for the Mountaineers, the wide receiver himself made his announcement on Saturday.
He’ll join the upstart Florida Atlantic Owls, to play close to home.
Questions about Durante’s future began back in July when he did not appear on the preseason depth chart.
Durante also missed the first three weeks of fall camp.
Dana Holgorsen answered these questions, in part, at an informal presser on August 6.
"He is dealing with personal issues," Holgorsen said. "He has not reported. I don’t know if he will, I don’t know when he will.
