The West Virginia senior basketball player only played 17 minutes against the Bears in the regular season finale. He made his brief impact scoring eight points by making all three of his field goal attempts and both of his free throw attempts.
Holton also grabbed three rebounds, as Baylor had an advantage on the boards, 34-32. Had Holton been at full strength and played more, the Mountaineers would have likely had more rebounds.
With Holton at full strength, WVU will surely outrebound TCU on Thursday. Holton appears to be healthy and ready to go.
The West Virginia basketball team arrived in Kansas City for the Big 12 Tournament on Wednesday morning, a full day ahead of the Mountaineers’ first game.
