John Flowers raises money with alumni game

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Former West Virginia forward John Flowers and J Flow Entertainment hosted the ‘Inaugural West Virginia Men’s Basketball Alumni Game’ on Saturday at Morgantown High School.

The game featured Mountaineers from five decades, spanning the ’70s through today, and turned into an all-star game of sorts with a final score of 133-126 in favor of John Flowers’ white squad. Flowers’ team consisted of players such as Tyrone Sally, Joe Mazzulla and Wellington Smith.

The Da’Sean Butler captained blue team was down by 24 heading into the fourth quarter before Truck Bryant led the team back to within three points.
