The West Virginia Mountaineers (9-9, 1-5) stopped their conference skid in spectacular fashion on Saturday afternoon with a 65-64 win over the No. 7 Kansas Jayhawks in Morgantown. It took six games for it to happen, but we may have just hit the turning point on the season.

The Mountaineers and Jayhawks battled it out for the full 40 minutes, with the lead changing 19 times. Kansas led for over 16 minutes in the second half, but a corner three from Wesley Harris and a Derek Culver layup put the Mountaineers within one point with 1:26 remaining.
