MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University women’s soccer senior Amanda Hill has been named the National Consortium for Academics & Sports (NCAS) Female PlayMaker of the Month for December 2015.
The PlayMaker of the Month Award honors the academic achievement and community service efforts of student-athletes at NCAS member institutions. Nominated by coaches, administrators and/or teammates, the student-athlete must carry a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) and serve as an active participant in community/volunteer services and/or social change advocacy.
A native of Washington, Pennsylvania, Hill, a two-time team captain, was named to the Senior CLASS Award All-America Second Team on Dec.
