As the West Virginia Mountaineers descended upon the Big 12 media days, Heisman trophy candidate and senior quarterback Will Grier was the talk of the conference. Not only is Grier the leading returning passer in conference, he is considered one of the best returning quarterbacks in college.
As Grier made his rounds throughout media day, he sat down with Fox Sports for a few good minutes. When asked about the pressure that comes with expectations being one of the more senior-laden teams in conference, Grier expertly praised his teammates as “a great group of guys” and they would enjoy “going out and competing”.
