MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University rifle sophomore Elizabeth Gratz earned two medals at the 2016 National Junior Olympic Shooting Championship (JNOSC), April 15-19, at the U.S. Olympic Training Center, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The Sigel, Illinois, native finished third in the women’s 50m 3 positions on April 17 and second in the women’s 10m air rifle on April 19. She was the only competitor to medal in both events, and the air rifle finish moved her back to the National Junior Team.
“I think Elizabeth had a great week in Colorado,” WVU coach Jon Hammond said.
