The West Virginia Mountaineers will have to wait until Saturday to try to grab another Big 12 series win.

Due to lightning in the area, the game was suspended after five innings after an hour and forty minutes of delay.

Just about all of the action took place in the third inning when the Sooners scored on two consecutive at-bats and Cole Austin came home off of a Darius Hill single in the bottom of the inning.

Oklahoma will have a 2-1 lead in the top of the sixth inning when play resumes. BJ Myers will likely remain on the mound.
