MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University men’s basketball, women’s basketball, rifle and women’s soccer teams received public recognition today by the NCAA for their latest multiyear Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores. The four teams posted multiyear APRs in the top 10 percent of all squads in each sport.
The WVU men’s basketball team has now been recognized for the second consecutive year and fourth time in the last eight years. Women’s soccer earned its fourth public recognition since 2008, rifle earned its second overall public recognition and women’s basketball earned its first public recognition by the NCAA.
