Dawson was fired from Kentucky in December after spending just one year with the Wildcats. Kentucky went 5-7 and average only 24.7 points per game.
Dawson, who was at WVU for four years under Dana Holgorsen, was hired by UK to ramp up its offensive prowess. He did a solid job in his duties leading the West Virginia offense, but that success didn’t transfer over to the Wildcats.
