During the Minnesota Timberwolves' last NBA Summer League game on July 19, Edwards posted an 18-point night in the a 104-101 loss to the Houston Rockets. Edwards spent one season at WVU during the 2023-2024 season, the first WVU basketball season without legendary head coach Bob Huggins.
In the final game of the summer league season for the Timberwolves, Edwards added eight rebounds and four blocks during his 23 minutes of play on July 19.
