MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University seniors Michael Bamsey and Meelis Kiisk are set to shoot at the 2016 Rifle/Pistol/Running Target European Championship, which opened today at the Audi Arena in Gyor, Hungary, and will continue through Feb. 28.
Bamsey, a native of Cardiff, Wales, and Kiisk, a Paide, Estonia, native, will compete in the men’s 10m air rifle competition on Saturday, Feb. 27. Due to this competition, Bamsey and Kiisk will be unavailable to shoot for the No. 1-ranked Mountaineers at the 2016 Great American Rifle Championships, set for Feb. 26-27, at Mississippi.
