MORGANTOWN, W.Va.– West Virginia University women’s soccer All-Americans Kadeisha Buchanan and Ashley Lawrence have been shortlisted for several Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) Awards.
Designed to award the year’s top players, coaches and referees in women’s and men’s events from the CONCACAF region, the honors, now in their third year, are open to fan and media voting.
Members of the Canadian Women’s National Team, the juniors are nominated for three combined awards. Buchanan, a native of Brampton, Ontario, is one of 10 nominees for the Female Player of the Year Award.
